Starting salary can be up to the mid-point depending on experience; the full range is listed above, with the mid-point at $104,748.80 annually. This position supports city management and external stakeholders in a variety of financial activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• Five years of experience in accounting, financial cost analysis, financial forecasting, auditing, or a closely related financial/fiscal activity.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex reconciliations and interpret GASB requirements.
• Prepare month-end closings and year-end audits.
• Prepare the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
• Provide high-level technical support and coordination for the City Treasurer's office.
