Arms Trucking Co in East Claridon, Ohio is seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time, in-office role. You will manage a range of accounting tasks, provide guidance to staff, and help strengthen our tight-knit accounting team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting or related field, 5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with ERP systems like QuickBooks or Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Windows, ERP systems, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Assist A/R & A/P staff with investigating and resolving issues.
• Cross train to provide coverage for A/R & A/P.
• Assist in month/quarter/year end processes including bank reconciliations and journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and process sales tax filings.
• Provide guidance and assistance to accounting/office staff.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations on various projects as needed.
• Provide continuous improvement tactics and ideas.
