Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day general accounting activities in our Irving, Texas division. The role covers cash management, general ledger activity, and month-end close processes, with duties including reconciling inter-company activity and ensuring timely tax calculations and filings.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post cash receipts via bank statements to the general ledger.
• Reconcile inter-company sales and purchases as part of month-end closing.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and support.
• Assist in month-end closing and expense analyses.
