Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant in Irving, TX for a full-time, direct-hire role. The position focuses on general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a multi-location environment.

Responsibilities include journal entries, close processes, balance sheet and income statement analysis, and ensuring GAAP compliance. SAP experience and CPA are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close proficiency.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPA preferred but not required.

• Assist with accounting for leases, fixed assets, inventory, or cost accounting.
• Support ongoing improvements to accounting processes and reporting.

A well-established company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong general ledger, month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

Senior Accountant - General Ledger

• Perform general ledger accounting activities and prepare journal entries for multiple business locations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze financial information to identify trends, variances, and significant changes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet, income statement, and other financial reports.
• Research and resolve errors or inconsistencies in accounting records and financial reports.
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

• Assist with accounting for areas such as fixed assets, inventory, leases, and cost accounting.

• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Experience with leases, fixed assets, inventory, or cost accounting is a plus.
• Experience in distribution, building materials, manufacturing, consumer products, or a similar industry is a plus.
• Public accounting, Big 4, regional accounting firm, or public-company experience is a plus.
• Must be located in the Dallas/Irving area or willing to commute.

Compensation & Benefits

• $90,000-$105,000 annual salary
• Full-time, permanent position
• Hybrid schedule
