Job summary

LanceSoft Inc in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced accountant to establish and maintain general accounting practices and prepare journal entries and reconciliations in line with GAAP.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting/finance, 3+ years of experience, CPA preferred, and strong Excel skills. Familiarity with GAAP, SOX, and Microsoft D365 is a plus; will collaborate across AR, AP, and Tax during month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Microsoft D365 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review Intercompany/Intracompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Coordinate cash and tax journal entries with AR, AP, and Tax.
• Contribute to variance analyses during close periods.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and support internal auditors.
