Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Sr. Accountant in Rio Rancho, NM 87124 to provide accounting support to the Accounting Manager. The role records daily, weekly and monthly transactions in compliance with GAAP and TFCS policies.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, related party invoicing, and assisting with year-end audits, with emphasis on accuracy, attention to detail, and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with at least five years of experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIFS).
• Accurate, well organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare related party invoices and reconcile related party transactions.
• Assist with month-end financial reports.
• General ledger analysis of accounts.
• Assist with year-end audits preparation.
• Review AP vouchers prepared by AP Administrator.
• Review and post journal entries for accounting staff.
• Support other duties or special projects as assigned.
