Responsibilities include month-end close, ledger analysis, revenue/expense reviews, and preparation of leadership reports. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and GAAP experience; strong Excel and accounting software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required)
• 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience using GAAP.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information; prepare and post general ledger entries.
• Execute month-end and general ledger closings.
• Conduct revenue and expense analysis to identify trends, variances, and shifts.
• Audit supporting documents (contracts, vouchers, etc.) to substantiate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies/procedures.
• Review and correct errors in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Verify, post, and reconcile business transactions, including receipts and disbursements.
• Maintain updated records for P&L, taxes, liabilities, and asset accounts.
• Prepare special financial reports for leadership based on account analysis and trends.
