Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is required.
• At least five years of accounting experience and knowledge of U.S. GAAP is needed.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, databases) and MS Office proficiency required.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP or similar accounting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the parent company and support month-end/year-end close.
• Manage inventory accounting and related reserves; support sales commission calculations.
• Maintain the fixed asset subledger; capitalize assets and record depreciation; prepare roll-forward schedules.
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany billings; manage payment processes and confirmations.
• Prepare financial reports, cash forecasts, and related management reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors; support tax audits and tax return documentation.
• Verify banking details for new ACH and wire setups; initiate wire transfers.
• Reconcile accounts payable and intercompany payments; handle blanket purchase orders.
• Oversee or prepare Form 1099 reporting and month-end expense accruals.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile receivables; collaborate on finder-fee items.
