Frederick Fox LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a broad range of accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records and reliable reporting in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role covers general ledger, month-end close, and internal controls, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of accounting experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting, finance, general ledger management, financial reporting, or a related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• GAAP knowledge and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare and review moderately complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Analyze account balances, investigate discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
• Support corporate and entity-level accounting activities, excluding project accounting responsibilities.
• Coordinate routine month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies that may affect financial statements or reporting timelines.
• Develop and maintain close schedules and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
