Job summary

Frederick Fox LLC is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to own financial reporting, SEC compliance, SOX support, and revenue recognition in a public-company setting. This hands-on role is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.

The role requires strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, CPA credentials, and 8 years of progressive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting, preferably with public-company exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 8 years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, and technical accounting experience.
• Public company reporting & SOX experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q/10-K/8-K and related statements.
• Ensure external reporting complies with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, PCAOB standards.
• Coordinate quarterly/annual close, XBRL filing, and emerging disclosure requirements.
• Support SOX 404 program documentation, testing, and remediation of deficiencies.
• Coordinate external audits and governance documentation.
• Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting, close, and controls.
