Zusammenfassung

Financial Educators Federal Credit Union in Meridian, Idaho seeks a Senior Accountant to provide high-quality financial services through complex accounting functions, GAAP interpretation, and regulatory compliance. You will support the Controller, manage large portions of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, and act as a subject-matter expert for the accounting team.

Qualifikationen

Experience applying GAAP and regulatory guidance.
Ability to complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
Prepare schedules for external audits and regulatory examinations.
Provide guidance and training on accounting processes.

Aufgaben

Oversees assigned accounting functions and ensures GAAP-compliant reporting.
Performs complex general ledger activities: journals, reconciliations, accruals.
Manages components of the monthly/quarterly/year-end close to deadlines.
Prepares documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
Researches complex accounting matters and escalates as needed.
Acts as SME for team and trains on reconciliations, systems, procedures.
Partners with other departments to ensure proper recording and support.
Supports CECL process data inputs and governance.
