Job summary

ADP in Kellogg, ID is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Controller with daily accounting operations, close, and reporting. This hands-on role emphasizes accuracy, process discipline, and ownership of core accounting areas.

You will perform journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis, assist with the monthly close, and support SOX controls and internal management reporting. CPA eligibility is required or in progress, with prior public company experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA license required or actively on track to obtain CPA certification.
• Ideally currently in, or recently from, public company audit; or at least 1 year of hands-on accounting in a public company.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial close processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain balance sheet integrity through ownership of accounts and schedules.

• Identify inefficiencies and design practical process improvements.

This role is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven, with an expectation of ownership over core accounting areas and continuous improvement of reporting and controls.

• Play an active role in the monthly close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and well‑documented results.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through ownership of assigned accounts and schedules.
• Support external reporting, including audit support and documentation.
• Partner closely with the Controller to prepare internal management reporting and analyses.
• Assist with SOX controls execution, documentation, and remediation efforts.
• Identify inefficiencies in day‑to‑day processes and help design and implement practical improvements.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience
