The role requires a CPA, a BS in Accounting, and 7+ years of accounting experience with 3+ years in management. Proficiency in Excel and Workday is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certificate required.
• 7+ years of high-level accounting experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Strong Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including month/quarter/year-end close, reconciliations, payroll, and GL.
• Hire, train, and lead accounting staff while overseeing tasks.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls for accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare monthly GAAP-compliant financial reporting package.
• Review data sets and produce financial reports using Excel/Visual Basic/Macros/Pivot tables.
• Coordinate with other departments and finance for investment activity recording.
• Assist auditors with periodic audits of financial records.
• Review tax reporting for timely remittance of taxes.
