Job summary

Dept of Corrections - Central Administration seeks an Accountant Senior to oversee statewide financial practices and Cardinal system governance. You will ensure GAAP compliance and provide leadership on trust and commissary accounting, with year-end reporting support.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience with GAAP.
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting principles and methods.

• Provide statewide oversight, guidance, and support to DOC stakeholders on financial/accounting practices and Cardinal system.
• Provide oversight in Trust and Commissary Accounting and Financial Systems and Reporting in accordance with GAAP and agency policies.
