Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of bookkeeping or clerical accounting experience, or an Associate Degree with six accounting credits.
• Educational requirements met within 3 months of graduation.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA.
• Background investigation and CJIS compliance required.
• Veterans' preference applies to eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

• Record inmate transactions and review related financial activities for accuracy
• Prepare release forms, notifications, and account documents for inmates leaving the facility
• Process payments, invoices, and IGWF deposits
• Verify inmate cash slips, process approved requests, and address disapproved items
• Update logs, enter daily electronic transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
