Job summary

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking an Accounting Supervisor (Administrative Service Officer III) in Phoenix to supervise the financial audit program and lead a team of accountants.

With a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least four years of experience, you will ensure GAAP compliance, allocate costs to funding sources, and provide management with insights into fiscal performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or financial services is preferred.
• Four years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience supervising a team or accounting staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the financial audit program and team.
• Ensures costs are allocated to the appropriate funding sources.
• Maintains standards of work and provides staff training.
• Reviews accounting records and financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Interacts with central office, customers, and business units as a liaison.
