Mack & Associates, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing financial services team. This hands-on role will support general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, payroll, AP/AR, and various financial projects across the company.

You will work closely with management and departments, with visibility into month-end close, audits, and compliance. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in a collaborative, small-company environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Hands-on, team-oriented approach and willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and assist with closes.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Oversee AP/AR, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting.
• Support accounting for premiums, commissions, and related activity.
• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
• Partner with management on ad hoc analyses and projects.
• Take ownership of additional responsibilities in a small company.
