Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; fixed-asset accounting preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and fixed asset accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with process improvement or automation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fixed asset subledger with capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
• Reconcile fixed asset balances to the general ledger.
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor capital project costs and accounting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and reconciliations for fixed assets.
