Job summary

Adams and Associates, in partnership with Glenmont Job Corps Center, seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee financial systems and processes that support daily operations. This role goes beyond processing transactions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across accounting, payroll, reporting, and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field and completing Intermediate Accounting I, II and III.
• Two years of accounting experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience and/or Job Corps finance managerial training as an Adams’ Accountant. Must take company accounting assessment tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting systems and processes for Center operations.
• Manage payroll and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Review financial information, identify discrepancies, and ensure reports are completed correctly.
• Maintain strong internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
• Protect confidential information and support Center operations.
