Job summary

Globaltize is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to own accounting operations for a growing U.S.-based property management business. This hands-on role goes beyond bookkeeping, cleaning up historical records and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

You will manage payroll, AP/AR, billing, GL, and tax filings, maintain QuickBooks, and partner with business owners to improve controls and financial visibility.

Qualifications

• Experience managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• CPA-equivalent level; hands-on with reconciliations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Experience with payroll, AP/AR, billing, and GL accounting.
• Experience with U.S. business and tax filings.
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Review and reconcile historical accounting records, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
• Oversee business and tax filings, ensuring records and submissions remain current and compliant.
• Maintain QuickBooks, including bank reconciliations and GL accuracy.
• Handle payroll, billing, AP, and AR processes.
• Track job costs and allocations for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and reports to support decisions.
• Improve accounting workflows and internal controls with owners.
