Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the full accounting cycle from invoicing to payroll in the West Houston area. This role offers a path for growth within a high-growth team and a stable, career‑forwarding environment.

You'll manage billing, AP/AR, journal entries, month-end close, financial statements, budgeting, and reporting while identifying process improvements and strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central preferred.
• Detail oriented task management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Power BI or Vena experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor payments, banking activity, and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Complete month-end close within five to six business days.
• Prepare monthly income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial dashboards, and reporting.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
