The TemPositions Group is seeking a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller for a private family office in Bennington, VT. This hybrid role involves overseeing accounting for ~24 entities, real estate, collectibles, and investments, with close collaboration with outside CPAs and tax professionals.

The ideal candidate has hands-on accounting experience, strong month-end close, and CPA is strongly preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
• Strong month-end close and reconciliations experience.
• Experience coordinating with outside CPAs and tax professionals.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day accounting and GL across ~24 entities.
• Prepare and post month-end closing entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee monthly and year-end close processes for multiple entities.
• Maintain records for entities with varying activity levels.
• Track assets and investments across real estate, collectibles, etc.
• Coordinate with outside CPAs, tax advisors, attorneys and vendors.
• Provide financial information to tax professionals for filings and planning.
• Assist with tax-related accounting and reporting.
