Job summary

The TemPositions Group is seeking a Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller for a Family Office in Sunny Isles Beach, FL. This hybrid role requires hands-on accounting across multiple entities, including month-end close, GL management, and coordination with outside CPAs and tax professionals.

You will oversee about 24 entities, manage real estate, investments, and other assets, and support financial reporting, budgeting, and ad hoc analyses for ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GL and close.
• Experience preparing closing entries and month-end reconciliations.
• Experience working with outside CPAs and tax professionals.
• CPA strongly preferred; QuickBooks Desktop required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and GL across approximately 24 entities.
• Prepare and post month-end closing entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee monthly and year-end close processes for accuracy.
• Coordinate with outside CPAs, tax advisors, and attorneys.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting and ad hoc analyses.
• Maintain documentation for entities, investments and assets.
