Job summary

Principal Consulting Group, partnering with a fast-growing AI technology company in the San Francisco Bay Area, seeks a Senior Accountant to own employee expenses, corporate card accounting, and month-end close. You will work with Finance, HR, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, accurate recording of expenses.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SAP Concur expertise, strong GL knowledge, and 5+ years in accounting within tech or high-growth firms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in technology or high-growth companies.
• Strong SAP Concur and corporate credit card reconciliation experience.
• Solid understanding of GL accounting and month-end close.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee expense reporting through SAP Concur.
• Process and reconcile corporate credit card transactions and statements.
• Review expense reports for accuracy, coding, receipts, and policy compliance.
• Manage time & expense submissions and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, accruals, and audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate expense/accounting processes.
