Reece USA is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage core general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, while supporting ESG audits. This hybrid role emphasizes accuracy and cross-functional collaboration with sustainability and finance teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a BS in Accounting, CPA, and 4-5 years of public or industry experience, with strong Excel and Trintech Matcher skills to optimize financial reporting and internal controls.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or related Finance area required.
• CPA license required.
• 4-5 years of public accounting experience or a mix of public and industry accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform core general accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close tasks.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Lead the ESG audit coordination, ensuring timely responses and evidence completeness.
• Collaborate with operations, sustainability, and finance teams to ensure ESG data capture and reporting.
• Support annual financial audits and assist with technical accounting research as needed.
• Participate in month-end, half-year, and year-end reporting and prepare monthly/ ad hoc reporting packages.
