Job summary

Reece USA is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage core general accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, while leading ESG audit activities with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting, CPA license, and 4–5 years of accounting experience, plus strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills. The role is hybrid with four in-office days and one remote day.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or related Finance area required.
• CPA license required.
• 4-5 years of public, or a combination of public and industry accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close expertise.
• Experience supporting audits and ESG reporting familiarity or quick learning ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform core general accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close tasks.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Lead the coordination and execution of the ESG audit, ensuring timely responses to auditor requests and completeness of evidence.
• Collaborate with operations, sustainability, and finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency in ESG data capture and reporting.
• Support annual financial audits and assist with technical accounting research as needed.
• Participate in month-end, half-year, and year-end reporting, preparing accruals and schedules and submitting monthly and ad hoc financial reporting packages as directed by management.
• Assist with other ad hoc tasks and duties.
