Job summary

Spring Education Group in Pennsylvania seeks a Senior Accountant to lead key month-end close activities, manage complex reconciliations, and deliver financial analysis to support leadership across the organization.

This hybrid role requires three days in the office and two days remote, with mentoring responsibilities for Staff Accountants and collaboration across Accounting and Finance teams to strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of general ledger or public accounting experience.
• Understanding of GAAP and related standards.
• Proficiency with GL systems and data reporting tools.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and XLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Lead key components of monthly and annual financial close.
• Prepare and review journal entries in NetSuite.
• Prepare and review complex reconciliations (cash, fixed assets, revenue, payroll).
• Support daily cash application and reconciliation processes.
• Assist Accounting Manager with budget preparation.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to departments and leaders.
