Ambient Enterprises seeks a Senior Accountant to support operating companies in Ohio. You will handle daily accounting, assist with month-end close, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements while supporting the transition to Microsoft Business Central ERP. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

The role reports to the Midwest Manager and focuses on project accounting, inter-company activity, and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable/receivable and assist with cash forecasting.
• Lead month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Oversee project accounting and reporting of costs, revenues and profitability.
• Support GAAP-compliant financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist in ERP conversion to Microsoft Business Central.
• Assist in acquisitions integration within the company structure.
