Job summary

Vaco is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will own financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and ERP data optimization using Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. CPA eligibility is preferred, and cross-functional collaboration will be important for reporting accuracy and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Analyze results, provide variance commentary, and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
