MellowSleep, a fast-growing home goods brand, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the monthly close, sales tax compliance, and FP&A activities. You will oversee bookkeepers, manage AP/AR, and coordinate with our outsourced CFO and external tax firm.

The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, US GAAP expertise, and hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks Online. This remote US-based role partners with the Head of Finance to drive accurate, timely financials.

Formación

• 5+ years of accounting experience with monthly close ownership.
• Experience with US multi-state sales tax nexus, registrations, and filings.
• Experience overseeing AP/AR, including collections and aging management.
• Some US partnership income tax experience and K-1 support with external firms.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and monthly close end-to-end.
• Own US multi-state sales tax compliance and reconciliations with external firms.
• Manage AP/AR and ensure accurate vendor payments and customer collections.
• Coordinate with external tax firm on partnership tax filings and K-1s.
• Support FP&A, budgeting, and rolling forecasts.
• Maintain data integrity across platforms (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, retail).
• Prepare financial statements and schedules; assist audit readiness.
