Job summary

IsoTalent is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant in Salt Lake City for a hybrid role that can transition from temporary to permanent. You will own cost accounting, inventory valuation, and the month-end close, collaborating closely with operations and production to ensure accurate financials.

You will drive standard costing, variances, and internal controls while mentoring staff and supporting budgeting and tax tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on cost accounting.
• Experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• CPA or CMA preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Own costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis across cost centers.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and operations teams to align system costs with on-floor activity.
• Develop reports to inform pricing, budgeting, and internal controls.
