Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines, headquartered in South Florida, seeks a Senior Accountant to support the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts. You will manage month-end close activities for Corporate Support, prepare journal entries, and produce internal reports with tight controls and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting) required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• CPA/CA or similar certification preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase and BlackLine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with Corporate Support annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting.
• Support accounting needs of Corporate Support departments with ad-hoc analysis.
• Perform user acceptance testing of reports and system changes.
