Job summary

Carnival is seeking a skilled technical accounting professional to join its Global Accounting & Reporting Services department in South Florida. The role focuses on accounting policy matters, contract reviews, and coordination with brands and external auditors.

You will monitor new standards, support quarterly and annual reports, and ensure compliance with global policies across entities. The position involves cross-functional collaboration and targeted process improvements, including automation

Qualifications

• Licensed CPA or pursuing CPA licensure.
• Intermediate knowledge of US GAAP.
• Ability to research and interpret technical accounting guidance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance and policy reviews across corporate and brands.
• Monitor and assess adoption of new accounting standards/regulations and global implementations.
• Support quarterly reports (10-K/10-Q) and external auditor requests, with footnote tie-outs.
• Oversee global accounting policies, IFRS vs US GAAP adjustments, and fixed assets reviews.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive consistency in global accounting policies across brands.
• Lead special projects to streamline processes, including automation/AI initiatives.
