Sayva Solutions is partnering with a large publicly traded organization to secure an experienced Senior Accountant Consultant for an immediate 4+ month engagement in San Diego, CA. The role requires the ability to manage priorities independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You will handle fixed asset accounting, journal entries, depreciation, month‑end close, and multi‑entity reconciliations, supporting internal controls, accuracy, and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Senior-level general ledger accounting experience within a large, complex organization.
• Public company audit experience or accounting experience within a large publicly traded company required.
• Strong fixed asset accounting experience.
• Proven ability to prepare journal entries, perform complex reconciliations, and support month-end close activities.
• Strong Excel proficiency, including the ability to analyze, organize, and reconcile large or complex datasets.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, or AR/AP settlement reconciliations preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Manage fixed asset accounting activities, including reviewing capital expenditures, asset classifications, cost allocations, and capitalization decisions.
• Prepare and review journal entries, depreciation calculations, account reconciliations, and other recurring general ledger activities.
• Support month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely completion of assigned accounting responsibilities.
• Assist with complex, multi-entity reconciliations involving accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash settlement transactions.
• Research accounting discrepancies, investigate outstanding balances, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Support internal controls, compliance initiatives, and accounting process improvements.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to manage deliverables, communicate progress, and meet established deadlines.

About The Role

We are partnering with a large, publicly traded organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Consultant for an immediate consulting engagement. The ideal candidate brings experience in a public company or large company environment, and the ability to independently manage priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Compensation:

$50-$60/hr (W-2) Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
