Qualifications

• Accounting experience within a publicly traded company or a subsidiary of a publicly traded company is required.
• Hands-on experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals and supporting month-end close.
• Familiarity with internal controls and experience following established accounting procedures.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with reliable follow-through.
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across a small team, and adapt to evolving processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain customer settlement schedules, calculate amounts payable to customers, and reconcile related accounts.
• Record and reconcile payroll and employee benefits accruals.
• Maintain deferred revenue schedules and account for warranty-related balances and activity.
• Prepare inventory adjustments, including reserves and capitalized labor and overhead.
• Develop audit schedules and supporting documentation and respond to auditor requests.
• Follow established internal controls, update process documentation, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation.
• Support accounting projects and collaborate with colleagues as business needs evolve.
