Jobot is seeking an accounting professional to join a growing contracting company. You will lead month-end close, manage the general ledger, and provide detailed financial analysis across projects.

The role emphasizes job costing, WIP reporting, audits, and collaboration with operations. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3+ years in construction accounting are required; Sage or QuickBooks experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with job costing and WIP reporting is a plus.
• Proficiency with Sage or QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger activity
• Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support job costing and project financial tracking
• Assist with WIP schedules and percentage of completion accounting
• Prepare financial reports and support management with analysis
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and project teams
