Pride Health is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a client medical facility in Houston, TX. The role focuses on complex accounting, financial analysis, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

The Senior Accountant will perform month-end close activities, reconciliations, and provide guidance to accounting staff while leveraging ERP and BI tools. 3+ month contract, on-site, $60-$65/hr on W2. Strong Excel skills and variance analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional accounting experience.
• Advanced financial accounting knowledge.
• Strong variance analysis experience.
• Month-end/close-cycle accounting experience.
• ERP system experience.
• BI/reporting software experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex accounting and financial analysis assignments.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
• Perform and interpret financial and variance analysis.
• Prepare, review, and approve account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and close-cycle accounting activities.
• Perform General Ledger accounting activities.
• Retrieve and analyze financial data from ERP and BI systems.
• Recommend improvements to accounting systems, processes, and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff.
• Support financial management and administration.
• Create reports and perform advanced analysis using Microsoft Excel.
