The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting through hands-on accounting operations, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all general ledger activities, journal entries, and month/year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Review and approve reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
- Oversee inventory and fixed asset accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
- Prepare and file sales and property tax reports; serve as liaison for internal and external audits.
- Support and optimize ERP systems (Dynamics 365, NetSuite) to maintain data integrity and improve reporting capabilities.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Develop and mentor accounting team members through training, feedback, and professional development.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 or NetSuite.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
