Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred or equivalent credentials.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in energy.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Perform month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Assist in budgets/forecasts and analyze variances.
• Present financial reports to management and highlight trends.
• Ensure internal controls compliance and assist with audits.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to other teams.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends.
• Lead process improvements and special projects as needed.
