KBR seeks a Senior Accountant to join the Defense & Intelligence (D&I) Controllership team. The role supports monthly closes, financial reporting, internal controls, backlog reporting, and unbilled reconciliations, driving process improvements across the organization.

The ideal candidate has strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, 5+ years in accounting, and experience with government contracting environments. Join during a pivotal growth phase and contribute to critical missions worldwide.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including responsibility for financial close processes, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for close processes.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting per U.S. GAAP and policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Develop automated reporting using Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and related tools.
• Support SOX compliance, testing, documentation, and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and reporting capabilities.
• Lead special projects and provide decision-support analytics to business objectives.
