The ideal candidate has five years of relevant experience, comfort with multi-state entities, and CPA or candidacy. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential for maintaining data integrity within the firm’s accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with multi-state/multi-business unit entities
• Public accounting experience in a personal injury law firm is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required, CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarterly and year-end close procedures
• Reconcile monthly bank statements
• Prepare annual budget and forecasting
• Perform analyses such as profit and loss and KPI reporting
• Manage accounting projects
• Maintain internal controls and data integrity
• Communicate financial concepts clearly to stakeholders
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting
