Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in the United States seeks a Corporate Accountant reporting to the Manager of Community Accounting. This role closes monthly and annually for Covenant Living campuses and drives financial analysis for assigned campuses.

The position will prepare monthly reporting packages, produce projections, and assist with the annual operating budget, journal entries, and reconciliations. Regular participation in financial reviews supports long-term campus performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• CPA preferred.
• At least three years of audit experience with a public accounting firm preferred.
• Healthcare/continuing care experience and Workday/MyUnity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the monthly general ledger close and financial statement prep within policy time-frames.
• Prepare and analyze journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile general ledger balances for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports and filings.
• Perform financial and operational analysis and provide commentary on key indicators.
• Attend monthly financial and operational review meetings with leadership.
