Cove Communities is seeking a highly accountable accounting professional to support the organization by managing daily accounting tasks and contributing to the month-end closing process. You will ensure GAAP compliance and accuracy across multiple entities to drive scalable growth and informed decision-making.

The role focuses on preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and producing timely financial statements, with opportunities to optimize processes and support external audits.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close best practices.
• Experienced with multiple legal entities under different umbrellas.
• Strong ability to compile and analyze financial information.
• High attention to detail to catch errors on financial statements.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end close processes and prepare journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze income statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Support external auditors during annual audits for multiple entities.
