Job summary

Covenant Living seeks a corporate accounting professional to lead monthly and annual close for assigned campuses, driving financial and operational analysis and preparing monthly reporting packages. You will collaborate with operations leadership and other finance teams to ensure accurate results.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred, and 3+ years of audit experience; healthcare/CCRC exposure and Workday/MyUnity experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance or Equivalent Degree required.
• CPA preferred; 3+ years of public accounting audit experience strongly preferred.
• Healthcare/CCRC experience preferred; Workday and MyUnity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the monthly general ledger close and financial statement preparation within prescribed corporate accounting policy time-frames.
• Collaborate with Expense Cycle Management, Revenue Cycle teams and FP&A to ensure appropriate adjustments to the community financials are recorded in a timely manner.
• Complete monthly statistical reporting, including entrance fee accounting and related schedules.
• Prepare and analyze journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile and review balances in the general ledger for accuracy and completeness, including maintain and review of schedules supporting account activity and balances.
• Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports and filings.
• Perform financial and operational analysis, including detailed analysis of general ledger accounts, preparation of reporting package and providing written commentary on key indicators and metrics.
• Attend and participate in monthly financial and operational review meetings with operations and community leadership.
