Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. seeks an accounting professional to execute general ledger processes, prepare monthly journal entries, and perform balance sheet reconciliations. You will liaise between corporate headquarters and field accountants, supporting budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to work with ERP systems. Travel may be required as part of site support and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.

Responsibilities

• Execute general ledger accounting processes end-to-end, including preparation of monthly journal entries.
• Conduct reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts, with a focus on cash reconciliations.
• Liaise between corporate headquarters and geographically distributed field accountants for assigned sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to develop budgets and forecasts and perform variance analyses.
• Analyze financial data and problem solve related to assigned areas and accounts.
• Execute key internal controls and support auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Assist with special projects such as technical accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
