Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to lead end-to-end accounting processes across multiple site portfolios in Atlanta. You will act as the primary liaison between corporate headquarters and field accountants, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgets and forecasts, perform variance analyses, review balance sheets, and support external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
• Ability to perform variance analyses and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting processes for assigned areas.
• Serve as the main point of contact between corporate headquarters and field accountants for multiple sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze and format large amounts of financial data to perform variance analyses and problem-solving.
• Conduct thorough reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts.
• Execute key internal controls and support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and manage special projects including technical accounting research and integration of newly acquired facilities.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
