Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing private firm in Indiana. The role blends general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, audit support, and system improvements, with partnership to accounting and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years in GL/financial reporting, strong US GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and ERP experience; CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive GL accounting, financial reporting, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and core corporate accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with accounting or ERP systems.
• Interest in improving workflows, integrating systems, and expanding the use of accounting technology.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• CPA or progress toward the CPA preferred.

This position is open due to continued growth and long-term succession planning and offers the opportunity to work closely with accounting and executive leadership while preparing for increased responsibility over time.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys improving processes, leveraging technology, and maintaining strong accounting fundamentals. The role will blend general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, audit support, regulatory reporting, and systems improvement.
