Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a Senior Accountant for their BioTech client in the United States. This role involves managing the general ledger, preparing journal entries, conducting reconciliations, and supporting audit processes. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of accounting experience, a relevant degree, and strong Excel skills. Robust benefits include free medical, dental, and vision, along with unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience (prefer public/private mix).
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Manufacturing or inventory experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze variances and collaborate with department heads to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with compliance reports and provide documentation for audits.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and address billing or payroll issues.
• Participate in special accounting and financial projects.
