Job summary

Nutrabolt, a fast-growing global active health company in the United States, seeks a Senior Accountant to manage ASC 842 lease accounting, fixed asset accounting, and financial close support. You will collaborate with Facilities, Procurement, Legal, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate capitalization and reporting across the lease portfolio.

University-level accounting degree and 5+ years' experience with US GAAP required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with US GAAP and ASC 842 knowledge.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting and capitalization policies.
• Experience supporting audits and SOX controls.
• Strong Excel, ERP and lease accounting system experience (e.g. D365, OneStream, Trullion).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage lease accounting under ASC 842, including lease schedules, ROU assets, lease liabilities, modifications, remeasurements, and terminations.
• Prepare monthly lease accounting journal entries and reconciliations.
• Partner with Facilities, Procurement, Legal, Operations, and Finance to ensure lease arrangements and capital expenditures are appropriately identified and accounted for.
• Maintain the fixed asset subledger/rollforward and oversee capitalization, depreciation, impairment, transfers, and disposals.
• Review capital expenditures and ensure compliance with capitalization policies.
• Prepare reconciliations for fixed assets, accumulated depreciation, lease assets, and lease liabilities.
• Support month-end close activities and general ledger accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX control execution.
• Perform technical accounting research related to leases and fixed assets.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
