Job summary

FAT Brands Inc. is seeking a technically strong Senior Accountant to own ASC 842 lease accounting and fixed assets across a multi-brand restaurant portfolio.

You will manage end-to-end lease activities, asset capitalization, and period-end closes in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. The role requires deep knowledge of ASC 842, US GAAP and ERP systems, with the ability to implement automation and collaborate with legal, operations, and auditors to ensure accurate reporting for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; public/private mix preferred.
• Hands-on ASC 842 and fixed asset subledger ownership across multi-location portfolios.
• Experience with multi-entity environments and intercompany activity.

Responsibilities

• Own restaurant lease accounting end to end under ASC 842, including remeasurement and subleases.
• Manage fixed assets subledger, CIP, depreciation, and impairment considerations.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across brands and entities; interact with auditors.
• Maintain lease and asset systems, NetSuite integrations, and drive automation.
